Who controls your data

What this website collects

• No analytics and no cookies. We deliberately run no Google Analytics, no product analytics, no advertising or social pixels, and we set no cookies. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use those logs to profile visitors.
• Search Console data. Google and Microsoft report aggregated, anonymous search statistics to us for this domain. These contain no information identifying you.

If you email us

We receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement. Our lawful basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract and, after that, the contract itself and our legitimate interest in managing client relationships. Mail is hosted on Microsoft 365.

We keep correspondence for as long as the client relationship lasts and for the period Ukrainian accounting and tax law requires afterwards. Enquiries that never become engagements are deleted once they are plainly stale.

If you apply for a job

Applications reach us through DOU or our Telegram screening bot, and are processed in our own recruitment system. We hold what you submit for the hiring process and, with your agreement, for future openings. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It is processed by the service providers who run our infrastructure, principally Microsoft, and by our accountant where invoicing requires it. Where data leaves Ukraine or the EEA it is covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Ukrainian law on personal data protection you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to hello@bigtree108.com and we answer within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority, or in Ukraine to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
