Why companies contract a software development company in Ukraine

One company, thirteen disciplines
Backend, front end, mobile, cloud, QA, design and delivery come from the same team on the same contracts. You are not stitching four vendors together and arbitrating between them when something breaks between the layers.
Hiring reach across the whole country
We hire for the stack and the seniority an engagement needs, wherever in Ukraine that person lives, rather than for a commute to one office. That is what keeps the range of disciplines wider than the company’s size would suggest.
Your working hours, not ours
Ukraine is two to three hours ahead of Western Europe, so the EU and UK working day overlaps completely. For North America the overlap is a hiring requirement we carry, Pacific included, rather than something you absorb.
A legal identity you can look up
Two registered companies, both with state-register entries you can read before signing, and published terms of service. The Ukrainian tax registration, declarations and payroll behind them never reach your desk.
Engineering rules that are written down
Tests ship with the feature, the build ends with zero warnings, security is deny-by-default and everything from infrastructure to DNS is code. A change that breaks a rule does not merge, whoever the client is.
Long engagements rather than sprints
Client relationships here are measured in years, the longest currently in its fourth. That is the timescale the model is built for: contracts, onboarding, cover during leave and replacement all assume the person is staying.

Services we deliver from Ukraine

Nine services, all staffed from the same team, so the backend, the app, the tests and the design are one conversation rather than four vendors.

Engineering roles staffed in house

Disciplines with people employed by BigTree108 today, rather than a list of skills we would like to claim. Roles we do not staff in house — DevOps, delivery management and a few others — we recruit on request, and the dedicated team page names them rather than implying a bench.

Three ways to work with us

Most work reaching us is one of three shapes. Dedicated engineers embedded in your team, where we carry the Ukrainian contracts, invoicing, payroll and leave and you get the specialist. A project delivered end to end, starting with a written plan and a small shippable first deliverable with tests, so you can judge the work before committing to more. Or a take-over of a system somebody else wrote, which begins with a read-only review and a written list of risks before a single line changes.

The outsourcing page sets the three side by side, with the contract and how we charge. If you know the stack you need, the hiring pages are more direct: hire .NET developers or hire Python developers.

A registered Ukrainian company you can verify

BIG TREE 108 LLC is entered in the Ukrainian state register under company number 46097404, registered in Ivano-Frankivsk, and it is the party that signs your agreement and issues your invoice. A second company, BIG TREE 108 SECURITY LLC, is a resident of Diia City, the legal regime Ukraine created for technology companies. Both registration numbers and the registered address are on the contact page, and the terms of service are published rather than sent on request.

Our client record is public where somebody other than us verifies it: the BigTree108 agency on Upwork. What we have built is on the work page, described with its stack and its numbers rather than as a logo wall.

Questions about working with a software company in Ukraine

What makes BigTree108 a Ukrainian software development company rather than an agency of freelancers?

The people on your engagement are employed by BigTree108 on Ukrainian contracts, not assembled per project from a marketplace. That is what lets us cover thirteen engineering and operations disciplines with one team, review each other’s pull requests, and cover a colleague on leave without sending you a new invoice or a new person to onboard.

Which disciplines does the team in Ukraine cover?

ASP.NET Core and C#, Python, Java, Angular, React, Vue and Next.js, iOS in Swift and cross-platform .NET MAUI, Microsoft Azure with Terraform and GitHub Actions, SQL Server, manual and automated QA in Playwright, UI and UX design in Figma, and Webflow and WordPress sites. Roles we do not staff in house today, such as DevOps and delivery management, we recruit on request rather than describe as a bench.

How do I verify a software development company in Ukraine before signing?

Look it up in the Ukrainian state register. BIG TREE 108 LLC is entered under company number 46097404 and BIG TREE 108 SECURITY LLC under 46117546; both numbers, the registered address and links to the register are published on the contact page, and our terms of service are on the site rather than sent on request. Our client history is also public on Upwork, where the agency is Top Rated Plus with a 100% job success score.

Can a company in the EU, the UK or the United States contract a Ukrainian company directly?

Yes. BIG TREE 108 LLC signs the agreement, invoices you directly in your currency and assigns the intellectual property to you. Ukrainian tax registration, declarations and payroll never reach your desk. If you would rather keep the contract and the payment protection inside a platform, the same team is available through our Upwork agency.

Does a team in Ukraine overlap with my working day?

For the EU and the UK, yes, entirely: Ukraine is two to three hours ahead of Western Europe. For North America we treat the overlap as a hiring requirement rather than something you absorb, so people are assigned or recruited for your schedule, Pacific included, and your stand-up, your reviews and your incidents are handled live.

Do you work in English?

Yes. Every engagement runs in English end to end: interviews, stand-ups, pull request reviews, written plans and documentation. Our own portal, code and engineering rules are written in English, so nothing is translated for you after the fact.

Where in Ukraine is the company and where does the team live?

The company is registered in Ivano-Frankivsk, in western Ukraine, and the team of more than thirty works remotely from across the country. We hire for the stack and the seniority a client needs rather than for a commute, which is why the disciplines we cover are wider than a single-city office of this size could staff.

What does an engagement with a Ukrainian software company cost?

It depends on the stack, the seniority and how long the engagement runs, so we quote per engagement rather than publishing a rate card that would be wrong for most readers. Write to hello@bigtree108.com with the scope or the role and you will have a written estimate within one business day.
