Hire .NET developers in Ukraine

ASP.NET Core and C# engineers from our largest engineering practice, employed by BigTree108 on Ukrainian contracts and embedded full time in your team. You interview them, you direct their work, and you own everything they write. The contracts, payroll, invoicing and leave stay with us.

What hiring a .NET engineer here includes

  • An engineer, not a résumé

You interview the person the way you would interview your own hire, and you say no as freely. We propose one or two people with their profiles rather than a stack of CVs to sift.

  • Interviewed by people who write the code

Nineteen people on the team are active technical interviewers, so the technical assessment is done by an engineer in the same stack rather than a recruiter with a checklist.

  • The paperwork stays on our side

Ukrainian contract, tax registration, payroll, invoicing, time tracking and leave all run through our own portal. You sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.

  • IP assigned before access

Every specialist has already assigned their work product to BigTree108, and our agreement assigns it onward to you, so the ownership chain is complete before a repository is opened.

  • A practice behind the person

Architecture review, a second pair of eyes on pull requests and cover during leave come from our largest engineering practice, not from your budget.

  • Hours you can see

Time is logged in our portal throughout the month and the same figures produce the invoice, so there is one source for both sides rather than a number that arrives at month end.

The stack we hire and interview for

  • ASP.NET Core and C#

HTTP APIs, background workers and Azure Functions, written against current framework versions rather than the one the codebase started on.

  • EF Core and SQL Server

Schema owned by migrations, queries that are parameterised by construction, and database constraints doing the work that application code would otherwise repeat.

  • Microsoft Azure

Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault and Container Apps, with Terraform and GitHub Actions around them so environments are reproducible rather than clicked together.

  • The front end beside it

Angular, React or Vue when the same engagement needs the UI, and .NET MAUI when one C# codebase has to reach mobile and desktop.

The .NET development service page covers the same stack from the delivery side, for work you would hand over rather than staff.

What our .NET engineers have actually built

Our own company management portal runs hiring, onboarding, time tracking, contracts, payroll and invoicing for the whole company, on .NET on Azure Functions with Angular, Azure SQL and Terraform. It is the same stack we staff for clients, and we have lived with its architecture decisions long enough to know which ones were right — that is the judgement an engineer brings to your codebase. Read the case study.

The practice also takes over systems other teams wrote: nine so far, the oldest written in 2008. Those start with a read-only review and a written list of risks before a single line changes, which is a different job from greenfield work and one we hire for deliberately.

How hiring runs

  1. Tell us the role

Stack, seniority and the working hours you need are enough to start. A repository link helps but is not required.

  2. We propose or we search

If the right person is on the team you get their profile within a business day. If not, we say so and run a search, which typically produces candidates within two to three weeks.

  3. You interview

Your process, your questions, your decision. We do not present a candidate we would not hire ourselves.

  4. Paperwork, then access

NDA and IP assignment are signed, access is granted, and the engineer starts in your repositories, your tracker and your meetings.

The dedicated team page explains the model in full, including the operations roles we staff the same way. If you are still comparing countries and vendors, start with the software development company in Ukraine page.

Questions about hiring .NET developers from Ukraine

Which .NET technologies do your engineers actually work in?

ASP.NET Core APIs, Azure Functions, Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, on Microsoft Azure with Terraform and GitHub Actions around them. Front ends alongside that work are Angular, React or Vue, and .NET MAUI when the same C# codebase has to reach mobile and desktop.

How do you assess a .NET engineer before proposing them?

The technical interview is done by someone who writes the same code, not by a recruiter with a checklist: nineteen people on the team are active technical interviewers. After that, probation and onboarding are tracked in our own portal, so a new engineer has a written plan and a review date rather than a start date and good luck.

Can I interview the engineer myself?

Yes, and we expect you to. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you say no as freely as you would to any candidate. Nobody starts before an NDA and IP assignment are signed and access is granted.

How quickly can a .NET engineer start?

When the person is already on the team, the start is gated only by your interview and the paperwork. .NET is our largest engineering practice, so this is the stack where somebody is most often available. When we recruit for the role instead, a search typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks.

Do your engineers work in my repositories and my process?

Yes. A dedicated engineer works in your repositories, your tracker and your meetings and reports to your lead. What stays on our side is the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing, time tracking and leave, plus architecture review and a second pair of eyes on pull requests, which come from BigTree108 rather than from your budget.

What happens if the engineer is not the right fit?

Notice periods run both ways and we replace from our own pipeline, which we run ourselves rather than through a subcontractor. Because engagements are sized in months rather than tickets, a replacement is a handover with an overlap, not a cold restart.

Who owns the code your .NET engineers write?

You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward, so the chain of ownership is complete before any repository access is granted.

Can you take over an existing .NET system instead of filling a role?

Yes, and it is a large part of what the practice does. A take-over starts with a read-only review and a written list of risks before a single line changes, then fixes in order of production impact. Nine such systems so far, the oldest written in 2008.

Need an ASP.NET Core engineer?

Stack, seniority and working hours are enough to start. You get candidate profiles or a straight answer that we do not have the right person yet.
