Odoo development services

Odoo development services for implementation, custom modules, version upgrades, integrations, migrations from other systems, Website, eCommerce and Point of Sale, reports, localisation and hosting on Odoo Community and Enterprise, with dedicated Odoo developers for your team or a project delivered end to end. Odoo is written in Python, which our own Python engineers work in every day.

What we build with Odoo

  • Custom Odoo modules

Python models, XML views, OWL components and reports that add what the standard apps lack, inheriting from core rather than patching it, so the next version upgrade is a port and not a rewrite.

  • Odoo implementation

Accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, CRM, projects and HR configured to your processes, with your data imported, users trained and support through the first month-end close.

  • Odoo version upgrades

Custom modules and data moved to the current Odoo release, through Odoo’s upgrade service for Enterprise or OpenUpgrade for Community installations built on OCA modules, migrated and tested on a copy before production.

  • Odoo integrations

Marketplaces, web shops, banks, payment providers, carriers and EDI partners connected through Odoo’s external API, with queues, retries and alerts rather than a scheduled script nobody watches.

  • Migrations to Odoo

Products, partners, open items, stock and history moved from spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Sage, SAP Business One, 1C or the system being retired, as repeatable imports with a reconciliation report.

  • Odoo Website, eCommerce and Point of Sale

Shops and websites on Odoo’s own builder, and Point of Sale for stores and restaurants, sharing one catalogue, one stock count and one customer record with the back office.

  • Odoo reports and dashboards

QWeb templates for invoices, delivery notes and statements in your layout and languages, dashboards in Odoo, and Power BI or Metabase over a read replica when reporting spans other systems.

  • Localisation and e-invoicing

Country charts of accounts, taxes and statutory reports set up and extended where the standard localisation stops, and e-invoicing through Peppol and national networks.

  • Odoo hosting and operations

Odoo.sh, or self-hosted on Azure or AWS with infrastructure as code, monitoring, and backups that are restored on a schedule to prove they work.

Hire Odoo developers

  • Dedicated Odoo developers

Odoo developers who join your team full time, work in your repositories, tracker and meetings, and report to your lead. You interview them; we carry the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing and leave.

  • Odoo project delivery

A team that takes the Odoo project from scope to release: estimate, build, tests and deployment, with a technical lead on our side who owns the plan and the quality.

  • Odoo support and take-overs

An existing Odoo system taken over from another team or kept running: a read-only review and a written list of risks first, then fixes and new features in order of impact.

The dedicated team page explains how specialists join your team, and the outsourcing page covers project delivery, take-overs and how we charge.

How we work on an Odoo project

Odoo projects are often run by the business itself with a small team. We can be that team, from the first workshop to go-live and the support after it, or work beside your Odoo partner when there is one, inside their method and their ticket queue.

We work on Community and Enterprise. Enterprise licences and Odoo.sh come from Odoo or your partner. Production data stays where your rules say it stays: development, migration rehearsals and testing run on non-production systems with masked data unless you decide otherwise, through your accounts and your access controls.

Questions about Odoo development

Which industries do your Odoo developers work in?

Mostly retail and e-commerce, with web shops, marketplaces and point of sale; wholesale and distribution, with purchasing, stock and delivery; manufacturing, with bills of materials, work orders and quality checks; logistics; professional services, with projects, timesheets and subscriptions; and hospitality, with restaurant point of sale.

Community or Enterprise?

Both. Community has no licence fee, but full accounting, financial reports, budgets, assets and payroll come from community-maintained OCA modules that you then depend on; Enterprise ships them, plus Studio and Odoo’s own upgrade service. We tell you which your requirements point to before anything is built.

Can you implement Odoo from scratch?

Yes. We map your processes to Odoo’s standard apps, configure them, build only what the standard cannot do, import your data, train your users and stay through the first month-end close.

Can you upgrade our Odoo to a newer version?

Yes. Custom modules are ported, the database is migrated on a copy first, and the copy is tested against your own processes before the production cut-over is scheduled.

How quickly can Odoo developers start?

When the right Odoo developer is available, the start is gated only by your interview and the NDA and IP assignment. Otherwise we run a search, which typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks, and nobody starts until you have said yes.

How do we hire Odoo developers through BigTree108?

Tell us the work, the seniority and the hours you need. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.

Who owns the work they produce?

You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward. Code, designs and documents are delivered into your own repositories and tools, not kept where only we can change them.

Tell us the version, the apps you use and what is missing. You get an answer within one business day: a plan or candidate profiles.
