Shopify development services
Shopify development services for custom themes and store builds, Shopify apps, Shopify Plus checkout extensions and Functions, Hydrogen headless storefronts, B2B and international selling, integrations with ERP and marketing tools, and migrations to Shopify, with dedicated Shopify developers for your team or a store delivered end to end.
What we build with Shopify
Custom Shopify themes
Online Store 2.0 themes in Liquid with sections, theme blocks, metafields and metaobjects that merchants rearrange without a developer, built in Git with Shopify CLI and Theme Check rather than edited live.
Shopify store builds and redesigns
New stores and redesigns, from catalogue structure, collections and navigation to payments, taxes, shipping profiles and analytics, built on a development store and launched against a checklist.
Custom and public Shopify apps
Apps on Shopify’s app template with the GraphQL Admin API, App Bridge, Polaris and theme app extensions, charged through the Billing API and prepared for App Store review when they are public.
Shopify Plus checkout extensibility
Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions for discounts, delivery and payment rules, cart validation and bundles: the supported replacements for checkout.liquid and Shopify Scripts.
ERP, fulfilment and marketing integrations
NetSuite, Business Central, SAP or Odoo, PIM, warehouses and 3PLs, Klaviyo, Google Merchant Center and Meta’s Conversions API, connected through webhooks, bulk operations and queues so a slow partner system never blocks a checkout.
Migrations to Shopify
Products, customers, orders and content moved from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a custom shop, with a reconciliation report and every old URL redirected so search rankings survive.
Hydrogen and headless storefronts
Hydrogen storefronts hosted on Oxygen, or Next.js on the Storefront API and Customer Account API, when the design, content or speed needs more than a theme gives.
B2B and wholesale on Shopify
Company accounts with locations, catalogues and price lists, quantity rules, volume pricing and payment terms, in one store beside retail customers or in a separate wholesale store.
International stores with Shopify Markets
Markets for each country or region with local currencies, languages, domains, catalogues and duties collected at checkout, and expansion stores on Shopify Plus when a market needs its own.
Hire Shopify developers
Dedicated Shopify developers
Shopify developers who join your team full time, work in your repositories, tracker and meetings, and report to your lead. You interview them; we carry the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing and leave.
Shopify project delivery
A team that takes the Shopify project from scope to release: estimate, build, tests and deployment, with a technical lead on our side who owns the plan and the quality.
Shopify support and take-overs
An existing Shopify system taken over from another team or kept running: a read-only review and a written list of risks first, then fixes and new features in order of impact.
The dedicated team page explains how specialists join your team, and the outsourcing page covers project delivery, take-overs and how we charge.

Theme, app or headless
A theme when the store fits Shopify’s model and your team wants to edit it themselves. A custom app when the store needs logic or data Shopify does not have. Checkout extensions and Functions when the Shopify Plus checkout rules have to change. Hydrogen or another headless front end when the design, content or speed needs more than a theme, with the storefront then hosted and maintained as your own code.
Every change is previewed on a development store before it reaches the live one, and the theme, apps and code sit in your own repositories.

Questions about Shopify development
Which industries do your Shopify developers work in?
Mostly retail and direct-to-consumer brands, with fashion, beauty, food and home stores; wholesale and B2B, with trade portals and price lists; health and wellbeing, with subscriptions; media and consumer brands selling merchandise; marketing agencies building stores for their clients; and software companies building Shopify apps.
Do you work on Shopify Plus?
Yes: checkout UI extensions and Functions, B2B with catalogues assigned to each company location, expansion stores for other markets and the integrations a high-volume store depends on, as well as everything a store on a standard plan needs, from B2B basics to Flow automations.
Do we need a custom theme, an app or a headless storefront?
It depends on what the store must do. Most stores run on a theme, often with a custom app beside it. A headless storefront on Hydrogen or Next.js gives full control of design, content and speed, with the storefront then hosted and maintained as your own code. We recommend one before anything is built.
Can you move our store to Shopify?
Yes. Products, customers, orders and content are migrated with a reconciliation report, and every old URL is redirected to its new address so the store keeps its search rankings.
How quickly can Shopify developers start?
When the right Shopify developer is available, the start is gated only by your interview and the NDA and IP assignment. Otherwise we run a search, which typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks, and nobody starts until you have said yes.
How do we hire Shopify developers through BigTree108?
Tell us the work, the seniority and the hours you need. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.
Who owns the work they produce?
You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward. Code, designs and documents are delivered into your own repositories and tools, not kept where only we can change them.
Building or running a Shopify store?
Tell us the store, the plan and what needs to change. You get an answer within one business day: a plan or candidate profiles.
