Data analytics and BI services: Power BI, Tableau and Looker

Data analytics and Power BI services: dashboards and semantic models in Power BI, Tableau and Looker, product analytics and A/B testing, financial, marketing and operational reporting, and analytics embedded in your own product, built on agreed definitions, with dedicated data analysts and BI developers for your team or a reporting project delivered end to end.

Analytics and BI work we take on

  • Power BI reports and semantic models

Star-schema models where each measure is defined once in DAX and reused by every report, tuned with DAX Studio and Tabular Editor, saved as Power BI Project files in Git and promoted through deployment pipelines rather than edited in production.

  • Tableau and Looker

Tableau workbooks on published data sources in Tableau Cloud or Server, Looker models written in LookML and reviewed in Git, and Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio), Qlik Sense, Metabase or Apache Superset where your teams already use them.

  • Product analytics

Tracking plans and event instrumentation with Segment, RudderStack or PostHog, and funnels, retention, cohorts and feature adoption in Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog or GA4 with its BigQuery export.

  • A/B tests and experiments

Experiments designed with the sample size and the primary metric fixed in advance, run in GrowthBook, Statsig or Optimizely, and read out with variance reduction such as CUPED and guardrail metrics, so a launch decision rests on more than one chart.

  • Financial and operational reporting

Management accounts, profit and loss, cash flow and KPI packs drawn from your ERP and billing systems, operational dashboards for sales, stock and delivery times, and paginated reports for invoices and statements.

  • Marketing and revenue analytics

Acquisition cost, lifetime value, cohort revenue and return per channel from ad platform, CRM and billing data, with attribution and marketing mix models in Meridian or PyMC-Marketing when the budget is split across many channels.

  • Metrics layer and KPI definitions

Each KPI agreed with its owner and defined once in the dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, LookML or a Power BI semantic model, so the finance pack, the product dashboard and an ad hoc query return the same number.

  • Embedded analytics

Dashboards inside your own product through Power BI Embedded, Tableau Embedded Analytics or Looker embedding, signed in through your application, with each customer’s data isolated by row-level security tested per role and capacity sized to real usage.

  • Report migrations

Spreadsheets, SSRS, Qlik, Tableau and Power BI reports rebuilt on the platform you are moving to, with every figure reconciled against the old report before it is retired.

Hire data analysts and BI developers

  • Dedicated data analysts and BI developers

Data analysts and BI developers who join your team full time, work in your tools and process, and report to your lead. You interview them; we carry the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing and leave.

  • Data analytics projects

A defined piece of data analytics with a scope, a fixed plan and a named lead on our side who owns the result and reports progress in your channels.

  • Ongoing data analytics

Data analytics as a continuing service: the same people every month, a backlog you prioritise, and hours you can see in our portal and on the invoice.

The dedicated team page explains how specialists join your team, and the outsourcing page covers project delivery, take-overs and how we charge.

Who works on your data analytics

  • Data analysts

KPI definitions, SQL and ad hoc analysis

  • Product analysts

    Event tracking, funnels and experiments

  • BI developers

Power BI, Tableau and Looker models and dashboards

  • Data engineers

The pipelines and warehouse under the reports

  • UI and UX designers

    Dashboard layout and readability

Numbers people can trust

Every figure is defined once, in the semantic model, the LookML project or the metrics layer, and agreed with the person who owns it before a report is built on it. Before launch the numbers are reconciled against the source system and the reports people already use, so a difference is explained in a review rather than discovered in a board meeting.

Access follows your accounts: reports are shared with groups from Microsoft Entra or Google Workspace rather than with individuals, row-level security is tested per role, and personal data that a report does not need never enters the model.

Questions about data analytics and Power BI

Which industries do your data analysts and BI developers work in?

Fintech, for financial, risk and customer reporting; e-commerce and retail, for sales, margin, funnel and inventory dashboards; AI and data products, for product and usage analytics; enterprise SaaS, for revenue, churn and customer health; healthcare, for operational and patient-flow reporting; and logistics, for delivery times, fleet use and warehouse throughput.

Which BI and analytics tools do you work in?

Power BI, Tableau, Looker and Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio), Qlik Sense, Metabase and Apache Superset for reporting; Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog and GA4 for product analytics; and SQL and Python underneath, on whichever warehouse or database holds the data. We build in the tool your people already use, or help you choose one when there is none.

Can you speed up a slow Power BI report?

Usually. Performance Analyzer and DAX Studio show whether the time goes on the visuals, the DAX or the source query. The fix is most often in the model, with fewer columns, a proper star schema and incremental refresh, before any extra capacity is bought.

Do we need Microsoft Fabric to use Power BI?

No. Power BI Pro or Premium Per User licences cover most reporting on their own. Fabric capacity starts to pay off when the pipelines and the warehouse should live beside the reports, or when the number of report viewers makes a capacity cheaper than a licence per person.

How quickly can data analysts and BI developers start?

When the right data analyst or BI developer is available, the start is gated only by your interview and the NDA and IP assignment. Otherwise we run a search, which typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks, and nobody starts until you have said yes.

How do we hire data analysts and BI developers through BigTree108?

Tell us the work, the seniority and the hours you need. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.

Who owns the work they produce?

You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward. Code, designs and documents are delivered into your own repositories and tools, not kept where only we can change them.

Need reports people can rely on?

Tell us the questions your reports must answer and where the data lives. You get an answer within one business day: a plan, a review of your current reports, or candidate profiles.
