Website support and maintenance

Technical support for a website that is already live: CMS, plugin and builder updates, backups, uptime and security monitoring, fixes, content changes and small improvements, with the same people looking after the site every month, for companies, public institutions and non-profit organisations.

What website support covers

  • Updates without surprises

The CMS, the theme and the plugins updated on a staging copy first and on the live site after a check, so an update never breaks a page your visitors use.

  • Backups you can restore

Scheduled backups of the files and the database kept away from the hosting, with a restore tested, so a backup is known to work before it is needed.

  • Monitoring and security

Uptime and certificate monitoring, malware scans, security headers and editor accounts reviewed, with access removed as soon as someone leaves your team.

  • Fixes and changes on request

Broken forms, layout errors, new pages, banners and text changes handled from a request in email, Telegram or your tracker, with the time spent shown on the monthly report.

  • Domain, hosting and certificates

Domain and hosting renewals tracked, HTTPS certificates kept valid and the hosting changed when the site outgrows it, all registered to you.

  • Speed and search kept in shape

Core Web Vitals, broken links and Search Console errors checked every month and fixed before they cost you visitors or rankings.

Hire website support engineers

Website support engineers who join your team full time, work in your tools and process, and report to your lead. You interview them; we carry the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing and leave.

  • Website support projects

A defined piece of website support with a scope, a fixed plan and a named lead on our side who owns the result and reports progress in your channels.

  • Ongoing website support

Website support as a continuing service: the same people every month, a backlog you prioritise, and hours you can see in our portal and on the invoice.

How website support works

Support starts with a review of the site: the platform and plugin versions, the backups, the hosting and who has access. What needs fixing first is written down and agreed, and from then on the site is looked after on a monthly plan, with the work and the hours shown on every report.

Changes are made on a staging copy and published after a check, and a site that is down or broken comes before everything else. The hours, the response times and what counts as urgent are agreed in writing in the contract.

Questions about website support

How much does website support cost?

It depends on the platform, the number of plugins and integrations and how many changes your team asks for each month. After a review of the site you get a monthly plan with the work it covers and the price, and support starts only when you have agreed to it.

Which DK 021:2015 code covers website support in a public procurement?

The procuring body chooses the code for its purchase. Website support is usually bought within the software-related services group 72260000-5, for example under 72267000-4 for software maintenance and repair or 72261000-2 for software support, and we bid under whichever code the tender names.

Can you support a site another team built?

Yes. The first step is a review of the code, the plugins and the hosting, with a written list of what is out of date or at risk. The fixes then go in order of risk, and after that the site is supported like any other.

How quickly can website support engineers start?

When the right website support engineer is available, the start is gated only by your interview and the NDA and IP assignment. Otherwise we run a search, which typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks, and nobody starts until you have said yes.

How do we hire website support engineers through BigTree108?

Tell us the work, the seniority and the hours you need. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.

Who owns the work they produce?

You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward. Code, designs and documents are delivered into your own repositories and tools, not kept where only we can change them.

Need someone to look after your website?

Send the address of the site and tell us what it runs on, if you know. You get an answer within one business day: what the review would cover and a monthly plan.
