Web application development services

Custom web application development for companies that need software in the browser: customer portals, internal tools, dashboards and workflow applications, with the backend, the database and the hosting built by the same team.

Web applications we build

  • Customer portals

Self-service portals where your customers see orders, documents, invoices and tickets, with sign-in through your identity provider and every record filtered on the server by who is asking.

  • Internal tools and back offices

Replacements for the spreadsheets and email chains a process runs on today: forms, approvals with an audit trail, and figures that come from one source.

  • Dashboards and reports

Charts and tables over your own data, paged and filtered in the database so large datasets stay fast, with PDF and CSV exports generated in the browser.

  • Progressive web apps

Installable web apps that work offline and send push notifications, for field teams and customers who would otherwise need a native app.

  • Accessible on every screen

Layouts that work on a 375-pixel phone, full keyboard navigation and WCAG 2.2 AA checks that run automatically on every component.

  • Typed contracts end to end

A front end generated from the backend’s OpenAPI document, so a renamed field breaks the build instead of a customer’s screen.

Hire web developers

  • Dedicated web developers

Web developers who join your team full time, work in your tools and process, and report to your lead. You interview them; we carry the Ukrainian contract, payroll, invoicing and leave.

  • Web application development projects

A defined piece of web application development with a scope, a fixed plan and a named lead on our side who owns the result and reports progress in your channels.

  • Ongoing web application development

Web application development as a continuing service: the same people every month, a backlog you prioritise, and hours you can see in our portal and on the invoice.

The dedicated team page explains how specialists join your team, and the outsourcing page covers project delivery, take-overs and how we charge.

Who works on your web application development

  • Full-stack engineers

.NET, Python, Java or Node.js with a TypeScript front end

  • Front-end engineers

Angular, React with Next.js, or Vue

  • UI and UX designers

    Figma design systems and prototypes

  • QA engineers

    Manual testing and Playwright automation

Choosing a stack for a web application

Angular for large business applications with many forms and a long life, React with Next.js when pages must rank in search or your team already works in React, and Vue when the team wants the lightest framework. On the backend, .NET for most business systems and Python when the application leans on data or AI, unless your team already runs something else.

Whichever it is: TypeScript in strict mode, authorisation checked on the server for every request, tests that ship with each feature and dependencies on current releases. Our own company runs on a web application we built with .NET and Angular, so these are rules we live with every day.

Questions about web application development

Do you build the backend as well as the front end?

Yes. The API, the database, background jobs, sign-in and hosting are built by the same team as the interface, so the contract between them is agreed once and generated rather than written twice.

Should we build a web app or a mobile app?

Start with a web app when people use it at a desk or arrive from search and links, because one codebase then reaches every device. A mobile app earns its cost when the product depends on the camera, offline work or background location; a progressive web app covers part of that in between.

How quickly can web developers start?

When the right web developer is available, the start is gated only by your interview and the NDA and IP assignment. Otherwise we run a search, which typically produces candidate profiles within two to three weeks, and nobody starts until you have said yes.

How do we hire web developers through BigTree108?

Tell us the work, the seniority and the hours you need. We propose one or two people with their profiles, you interview them the way you would interview your own hire, and you sign one agreement with BIG TREE 108 LLC and receive one invoice a month.

Who owns the work they produce?

You do. Every specialist has a signed contract with BigTree108 that assigns all work product to the company, and our agreement with you assigns it onward. Code, designs and documents are delivered into your own repositories and tools, not kept where only we can change them.

Need a web application built?

Tell us who will use it and what it replaces. You get an answer within one business day: a plan, an estimate or candidate profiles.
